Wine doesn’t always steal the show on the Yarra Valley, and we’re here to prove you just that.
Our Deja Brew tour includes tutored tastings, plenty of beer and the opportunity to get up close and personal with the brewers and their facilities. The breweries we visit include those on the boutique scale, right through to the major producers. This gives you a chance to experience the amazing diversity of Melbourne’s beer scene.
With a fully licensed and CPVV accredited tour guide at your side, our aim is to provide you with a memorable experience exploring the best beers and ciders that Yarra Valley has to offer at an affordable price. This 8-hour private tour package price per person includes 20-25 beer and cider tastings at 3 different breweries/ciderhouses, a gourmet lunch, a special visit to the local distillery or chocolaterie, and private transport to all wineries.

Featuring high ceilings set within a large factory, Jetty Road Brewery gives customers the chance to see the process from barrel to bottle. It’s a meticulous process the crew have spent countless hours perfecting. They craft their beers to suit every palate, whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned veteran. The Jetty Road IPA is a favourite among the locals – definitely worth a try. Inspired by the coast, it’s one you can’t leave without tasting.
Set amongst a picturesque orchard where they grow their own pears and apples, you can enjoy the deliciously fresh beer and ciders straight from their functioning brewery to your glass in either their restaurant or bar.
From their on-site brewery, Napoleone creates a selection of tasty beers that includes a refreshingly light lager and an American-influenced pale ale. But beyond their brews, it’s no secret that their ciders are really where this estate shines.
They’ve been growing and picking their own pears and apples for three generations, and you can taste the difference their premium fruit brings to the cider. In the bar, you can sample a selection of brews through their tasting paddles.
Coldstream Brewery embodies all of the things to love about life, great beer and cider, informal eating, great people, all at the doorstep of the magnificent Yarra Valley.
So broad is the pale ale style today that brewers have a blank canvas when it comes to brewing beers that wear the title (and that’s before you even start talking about XPAs, session IPAs, summer ales…). For Coldstream, the brewery seems to have mostly looked towards England for inspiration for their Australian Ale.
It’s darker than many modern American interpretations you’ll find, with soft floral hop notes sitting atop a rich and slightly nutty malt base that’s supported by a decent bitterness.
The restaurant and bar are housed in a charming old brick building in the heart of Coldstream. The restaurant serves fresh, informal, locally sourced food for lunch and dinner, washed down with Coldstream beers and ciders plus a well-stocked bar that supports other Yarra Valley producers and not forgetting the locally roasted coffee.
For our 4th stop, you can choose between a visit to the Local Gin Distillery, or Chocolaterie.

A full-day wine tour booking includes 8 hours; this includes the time from the first pickup to the final drop-off. However, there are exceptions to this in case of extreme weather conditions, traffic incidents, etc.
Example of a standard tour: Tour begins at 10 am from pick up point in Melbourne CBD, driver & passengers arrive at Yarra Valley at 11 am, return to Melbourne CBD to finish the tour at 6.00pm.
If multiple pickup pickups/drop-offs are required, then it is recommended to plan your day ahead to avoid exceeding the 8-hour tour duration.
Not strictly, we may allow up to an extra 30 minutes as no one is perfect, and going overtime can happen. However, if an 8-hour tour ends up being a 9- or 10-hour tour then you will be charged overtime.
It is important to note that the driver is booked for 8 hours and longer hours of driving result in fatigue which is not ideal for the safety of the driver and passengers on board.
