11:00 A.MBeer/Cider Tastings at Watts River Brewing

Our first stop is tucked away in Dromana’s industrial estate; you might not expect this to be the location of some of the Mornington Peninsula’s finest beer.

Featuring high ceilings set within a large factory, Jetty Road Brewery gives customers the chance to see the process from barrel to bottle. It’s a meticulous process the crew have spent countless hours perfecting. They craft their beers to suit every palate, whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned veteran. The Jetty Road IPA is a favourite among the locals – definitely worth a try. Inspired by the coast, it’s one you can’t leave without tasting.

12.00 P.M:Beer/Cider Tastings at Napoleone Cider & Orchard Bar

Set amongst a picturesque orchard where they grow their own pears and apples, you can enjoy the deliciously fresh beer and ciders straight from their functioning brewery to your glass in either their restaurant or bar.

From their on-site brewery, Napoleone creates a selection of tasty beers that includes a refreshingly light lager and an American-influenced pale ale. But beyond their brews, it’s no secret that their ciders are really where this estate shines.

They’ve been growing and picking their own pears and apples for three generations, and you can taste the difference their premium fruit brings to the cider. In the bar, you can sample a selection of brews through their tasting paddles.

01:00 P.M:Beer/Cider Tastings & Lunch at Coldstream Brewery Pub

Coldstream Brewery embodies all of the things to love about life, great beer and cider, informal eating, great people, all at the doorstep of the magnificent Yarra Valley.

So broad is the pale ale style today that brewers have a blank canvas when it comes to brewing beers that wear the title (and that’s before you even start talking about XPAs, session IPAs, summer ales…). For Coldstream, the brewery seems to have mostly looked towards England for inspiration for their Australian Ale.

It’s darker than many modern American interpretations you’ll find, with soft floral hop notes sitting atop a rich and slightly nutty malt base that’s supported by a decent bitterness.

The restaurant and bar are housed in a charming old brick building in the heart of Coldstream. The restaurant serves fresh, informal, locally sourced food for lunch and dinner, washed down with Coldstream beers and ciders plus a well-stocked bar that supports other Yarra Valley producers and not forgetting the locally roasted coffee.

04:00 P.M:Optional visit to Four Pillars Gin Distillery or Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery

For our 4th stop, you can choose between a visit to the Local Gin Distillery, or Chocolaterie.

Feel free to treat yourself to a true Australian Craft Gin at Four Pillars Gin Distillery before heading back home.

Had enough to drink for one day? Feel free to indulge your sweet tooth in a freshly made batch of artisanal chocolates, pastries & desserts at the Yarra Vallery Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery before heading back home.

Disclaimer: Please note that expenses incurred at this venue, including but not limited to food, tastings, beverages, and activities, are at the expense of the guests and are not as a part of the tour inclusions.

05:00 P.M:Wrap-up & Depart Yarra Valley

As the day comes to an end, it is time to wrap up and leave the Yarra Valley and head back home.

06:00 P.M:Expected Return Time

Our tour guide will return you to your desired drop off location(s) within Metropolitan Melbourne.

Point “A” is an example of a pick-up from Melbournce CBD.

Yes, Lunch is included in this tour package.

What is the standard duration of a tour?

A full-day wine tour booking includes 8 hours; this includes the time from the first pickup to the final drop-off. However, there are exceptions to this in case of extreme weather conditions, traffic incidents, etc.

Example of a standard tour: Tour begins at 10 am from pick up point in Melbourne CBD, driver & passengers arrive at Yarra Valley at 11 am, return to Melbourne CBD to finish the tour at 6.00pm.

If multiple pickup pickups/drop-offs are required, then it is recommended to plan your day ahead to avoid exceeding the 8-hour tour duration.

Will I be charged extra for exceeding the 8-hour limit of tour?

Not strictly, we may allow up to an extra 30 minutes as no one is perfect, and going overtime can happen. However, if an 8-hour tour ends up being a 9- or 10-hour tour then you will be charged overtime.

It is important to note that the driver is booked for 8 hours and longer hours of driving result in fatigue which is not ideal for the safety of the driver and passengers on board.

ALICIA T.My son, Nick, wanted a private party to visit some breweries. We had a group of 20 and reserved the large bus! So glad he chose Brewery Tours of Ami Tours. Michelle was very responsive to my requests and gave me advise on how to make this night special. We visited several brewing including coldstream and watts river. LOVED the locations! Now AJ, our driver, was AWESOME!! He hit it off with the group from the start! Michelle and AJ tag teamed during our adventure and timed our arrivals with beer samples appearing as our large party arrived. I was very pleased with the timing and coordination. I didn't have to worry about anything!! AJ did a fantastic job and we would book him again. I really appreciated the work Michelle and AJ did to make this night a very HAPPY one for my son!! THANK YOU!
