We customise every Hens Party Wine Tour to suit your needs.

It doesn’t have to be just a wine tour or a wine tour at all, it’s entirely up to you what you want your day to look like. We offer more add-ons & extras to customize your tour than anyone else within this space, whether you want to go on a boat cruise at the end of the tour, partake in a life drawing session, and have an after-party till the next morning – the options for fun after the wine tour are endless and nothing is off-limits. (almost!)

With a fully licensed and CPVV accredited driver at your side, our aim is to provide you with a memorable hens experience exploring the best that Yarra Valley has to offer at an affordable price.

This 8-hour private tour package price per person includes a variety of 20-25 wines to be devoured at 3 different top-rated wineries, a gourmet lunch at a winery, a special visit to the local distillery, brewery or chocolaterie, and private transport to all wineries including a complimentary pick-up and drop-off service from a location of your choice within Melbourne CBD.

We only accept a limited number of Hens Party bookings per month (maximum of 3 Hens party bookings accepted per month)
This tour requires a minimum of 8 guests however we are happy to cater to smaller groups as well. Please get in touch with us via email for quotations for smaller groups.

We’ll pick you up from a location of your choice within Metropolitan Melbourne Limits.

For groups of 6-11 people, we offer a private 12 Seater Mini Bus.
For groups with more than 11 people, we are able to offer private 14-seat, 21-seat or 24-seat buses depending on the passenger requirement.
Alternative and luxury modes of transport such as private 12 Seater Chrysler or a 17 Seater Hummer Limousine can be included for an extra fee (available as add-ons during checkout).

11.00 A.MWine Tastings at Yering Station Winery

Our 1st stop is Yering Station, Yarra Valley’s first & most famous family vineyard. Yering Station is a state-of-the art creation that manages to combine style and sophistication with traditional, age-old wine making techniques.

At the Cellar Door, the technical term for the wine-tasting area, you can try 15 styles of wine. And if you’re wondering what the heck your guide is on about when he asks you if you can taste the freshly mown grass in your Cabernet Franc, or the hint of smoky tobacco in your Shiraz, fear not! The guides are skilled wine experts, on-hand to provide a bit of palate training should it be required.

12:00 P.MGourmet Lunch & Wine Tastings at Soumah Wines

Enjoy a tutored tasting & a sumptuous gourmet lunch at Soumah Wines, our 2nd stop for the day.

Known for their award-winning Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this hidden gem is located down a county lane in the dress circle Warramate foothills of the Yarra Valley, offering visitors spectacular views of the vineyard and the surrounding Warramate Hills.

03:00 P.MWine tastings at Sutherland Estate

Sutherland Estate has one of the most spectacular vineyard sites in Australia.

Sutherland Estate is a family-owned, boutique enterprise in the heart of the premium, cool climate wine-growing region of the Yarra Valley. Varieties planted include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, with small parcels of Gewurztraminer and Tempranillo.

The wines have received immediate acclaim since the first entry into James Halliday’s 2005 wine companion.

Built onto the side of Daniel’s Hill, the cellar door enjoys panoramic views across the Yarra Valley to the Dandenong and Warburton Ranges.

For our 4th stop, you can choose between a visit to the Local Gin Distillery, Brewery, or Chocolaterie.

Treat yourself to a true Australian Craft Gin or a fresh brew of craft beer & cider at Four Pillars Gin Distillery & Coldstream Brewery.

Had enough to drink for one day? Feel free to indulge your sweet tooth in a freshly made batch of artisanal chocolates, pastries & desserts at the Yarra Vallery Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery before heading back home.

Booking Policy – All wineries advertised on tour packages are based on availability. In the event of a winery(s) being fully booked, we will substitute it for another venue at no extra cost.

Overtime Policy – Our full-day tour duration is 8 hours from pickup time, with an additional 30 minutes grace period allowed in some cases. Overtime charges start to apply once tour duration is exceeded, our tours are created to be an unrushed experience, we kindly request our guests to abide by the flexibility we allow in our tours. Additional hours of driving will result in fatigue for the driver and compromises the safety of passengers on board. We appreciate your understanding and all efforts taken to respect the tour’s duration.
Sustainability Policy – Our tour buses are occupied back to back on tours, we kindly request all our clients to make sure personal belongings and rubbish are removed from the bus at the end of the tour. Spills and rubbish leftovers may attract cleaning charges.

Is this a private tour? Do I get a private driver & a private vehicle for my group?

Yes, this is a private tour. Our private tours are inclusive of a private vehicle & a private tour guide fully accredited to carry paying passengers.

Is lunch included in the tour package?

Yes, Lunch is included in this tour package.

What happens in the case of COVID-19 restrictions?

We will provide a full refund if you are unable to travel due to government-mandated restrictions or if we are unable to provide the described service due to any other public health restrictions.

What is your refund & cancellation policy?

All cancellation requests must be sent through in writing (email or text) for us to process a refund.
All deposits made to confirm a tour are non-refundable. Please ensure you are confident that you will go ahead with the tour when placing a deposit for a tour.
Cancellations made before 12 hours after payment are subject to a 5% fee of the total booking fee.
A 50% refund is issued to any bookings which are cancelled after 12 hours of payment but 7 days prior to the booking date.
No refund is issued for any bookings cancelled within 7 days of the confirmed booking date. Please note that our tours are very high in demand and limited spots are available for our bookings. Cancellations result in administration costs on our end as the tour agency as well as the wineries that make reservations.
Refunds can take 3-5 business depending on your bank account. Cancellations made within 1 week or less prior to the tour date will not be refunded.
Dates can’t be swapped. A $100 rebooking fee will be applied for any private tours that need to change dates.
Reduced numbers in group bookings will not be refunded.
Passengers are recommended to be at the pickup point of choice at the time agreed between the guests and Ami Tours. Late arrivals by passengers can result in delays in attending to the booking and the risk of bookings being cancelled by the wineries for no-shows. No refunds apply for any delays caused by the lateness of guests. The wineries also reserve the right to refuse us if we are late, as they will need to attend to other on-time bookings. No shows will not be refunded.

How do I purchase an add-on?

Step 1: Please select your preferred booking date & number of people, and click “Book now”.

Step 2: Continue with the checkout process by filling in your contact information & billing address. Click “Next Step” when you’ve completed filling in the required information.

Step 3: Select an add-on of your choice. The final amount will be added to the total balance of your tour cost.

Step 4: Proceed to the payment gateway and finalise payment.

Do I need to register an account on the website to book a tour?

No, registration is not required; all tours can be booked through the website without creating an account.

What if I don’t want to book through the website? Is there another way to make a booking?

Our booking team will advise you on other methods of payment.

Is payment required upfront to book a tour?

All tours must be booked with a minimum deposit of 10% to be confirmed and locked in.

Our tours operate on a first come first serve basis, limited spots are available, and we cannot accommodate everyone who registers interest and makes a tentative booking for a tour date without any payment.

What is the standard duration of a tour?

A full-day wine tour booking includes 8 hours; this includes the time from the first pickup to the final drop-off. However, there are exceptions to this in case of extreme weather conditions, traffic incidents, etc.

Example of a standard tour: Tour begins at 10 am from pick up point in Melbourne CBD, driver & passengers arrive at Yarra Valley at 11 am, return to Melbourne CBD to finish the tour at 6.00pm.

If multiple pickup pickups/drop-offs are required, then it is recommended to plan your day ahead to avoid exceeding the 8-hour tour duration.

Will I be charged extra for exceeding the 8-hour limit of tour?

Not strictly, we may allow up to an extra 30 minutes as no one is perfect, and going overtime can happen. However, if an 8-hour tour ends up being a 9- or 10-hour tour then you will be charged overtime.

It is important to note that the driver is booked for 8 hours and longer hours of driving result in fatigue which is not ideal for the safety of the driver and passengers on board.

From start to finish, Michelle was more than accommodating with the planning & coordination. Our driver, AJ, was INCREDIBLE! Almost every single person in our group came up to me after the tour to tell me what a great time they had had. They thought AJ did an awesome job! He was so friendly and the whole tour was so organized. All of the wineries were great choices to accommodate a group our size. There is no doubt I would use this company again!! They were wonderful!

Friendly, courteous and professional, he gave us a run-down of the day's itinerary, timings and what to expect before we left. We first went to Yering Station and were sat at the front verandah, perfect spot to enjoy the good weather. For lunch, we went to Soumah Wines for some wood-fired pizza. Then in the afternoon, we had a bit more time at Killara Estate and where the wine was great, a few of us bought bottles to take home. AJ managed time and expectations well, there was no rushing and the mood was relaxed, though our party did grow a bit raucious towards the end! The day trip was very well organised and the winery selections were great. Highly recommend the experience. Thanks, Ami Tours for a lovely hens day out! 😊
