The end result is a group of wines that are balanced, harmonious and graceful. Squitchy Lane Vineyard strive for full flavour development at low alcohol levels so the wines can refresh as well as sustain the soul.
Squitchy Lane Vineyard grow and produce Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.
Their rustic cellar door is a must visit for a truly authentic wine tasting.
It is said that ‘great wine is made in the vineyard’ and at Soumah this is true to their philosophy with a location that delivers with spectacular undulating topography, ancient soils, and well-tendered vines.
Enjoy a tutored tasting & a sumptuous gourmet lunch at Soumah Wines, our 2nd stop for the day where you will indulge in mouthwatering antipasti, pasta, woodfired pizza, cheese, and dessert.
Known for their award-winning Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this hidden gem is located down a county lane in the dress circle Warramate foothills of the Yarra Valley, offering visitors spectacular views of the vineyard and the surrounding Warramate Hills.
Set in a rustic shed oozing charm, Yering Farm isn’t a site you want to rush past; it’s a popular place to be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy a glass of wine or cider if you’ve got the time.
Yering Farm offers an approachable variety of entry level wines, with a mid-range and premium level also available on taste. Where they really shine is in their reds, especially with their crowd pleasing Pinot Noirs and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties.
Their talents also lie beyond the vineyards though, thanks to their delicious cider produced from their own orchard. It’s a crisp and fresh cider made from 100% premium pink lady apples, and is definitely not to be missed.
Our 4th stop is Oak Tree Vineyard, a boutique estate producing premium cool climate wines of unique character and exceptional quality, specialising in Pinot Noir and Rose’.
Our 5th and final stop is Helen’s Hill, a hidden gem known for a wine range that celebrates passion, persistence and the genuine connection between people and land. Each of the Helen’s Hill wine range hand-crafted and undergoes an arduous selection process before it makes it into a Helen’s Hill bottle. Great wine is made in the vineyard and as such only small select parcels of fruit from certain rows of Helen’s Hill Estate’s single vineyard site are hand picked at harvest. Each wine is fermented in select French oak barrels. Prior to bottling, each barrel is tasted and ranked with only the best barrels selected for the Helen’s Hill range.
For our 6th stop, you can choose between a visit to the Local Gin Distillery, Brewery, or Chocolaterie.
Treat yourself to a true Australian Craft Gin or a fresh brew of craft beer & cider at Four Pillars Gin Distillery & Coldstream Brewery.
Had enough to drink for one day? Feel free to indulge your sweet tooth in a freshly made batch of artisanal chocolates, pastries & desserts at the Yarra Vallery Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery before heading back home.
