Yering Farm Wines is a small winery and orchard located in the heart of Yarra Valley. Yering Farm, founded in 1989 and founded on a rich viticultural and farming tradition with a family-run and -owned approach, creates a unique and well-regarded variety of Wines and Cider.
From budbreak to bottling, Vignoron and its owner, Alan Johns, meticulously oversee every stage of the production process. His hands-on approach guarantees that all Yering Farm Wines are of the finest quality and delicate representations of the region’s traditional style. With 100 percent of the production occurring on-site.
With five generations of orchardists and a 70-acre apple and pear orchard on-site, the Johns family combines both techniques. Sharing the expertise and methods of winemaking and agriculture in order to create a distinctive cider.
Visit the Cellar Door for a wine tasting or to purchase a few bottles to take home. Stay and picnic with family and friends on the front lawn, enjoy a drink of wine in front of the fire, or relax on the porch and take in the magnificent views of the vineyard and Yarra Valley.
The George at Yering is a luxury farmhouse-style lodging that exudes country charm and is located within walking distance of the Cellar Door. The house sleeps 14 guests, making it ideal for larger gatherings and wedding parties.
